The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces federal laws against discrimination.
Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC)
WSHRC enforces the Law Against Discrimination (RCW 49.60). The Commission works to prevent and eliminate discrimination by investigating civil rights complaints and providing education and training opportunities throughout the state.
Seattle Office of Civil Rights (SOCR)
Applying both federal and local laws, the SOCR addresses illegal discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations and contracting within the Seattle city limits.

Department of Energy Office of Hearings & Appeals (OHA)
OHA is responsible for conducting hearings and issuing decisions involving personnel security clearance cases, and contractor employee whistleblower cases. OHA has jurisdiction for deciding Freedom of Information and Privacy Act appeals, a well as other appeals involving administrative determinations reached by Department officials under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Energy.
